Summer Wedding at the Farm in Snohomish, WA
When I first heard from Danika and Nick about their wedding plans I got excited. Not only were they friends with one of my pervious wedding couples, they were getting married at the same venue my best friend got married at in 2021. I always love getting to go back to special venues! They shared about their Summer Wedding at the Farm in Snohomish, WA., saying they wanted elegant boho vibes and they really nailed it. Their day was classic, so true to them and filled with many personal touches.
The Bride and Grooms Story
Danika and Nick went to high school together. Life brought them back together when they found themselves living in the same apartment building. It felt like fate and was perfect timing for them. They are both into the outdoors and hiking being from the PNW. Nick is really into Toyota Land Cruisers and has worked on them for a privately owned shop for 10 years. For their engagement session we rode in theirs to the top of a mountain near their house. We got such epic snowy photos and had a great time on the ride! You’ll also noticed their were a few special Land Cruisers at their wedding we took photos with. I love seeing couples include special things in their days to make it personal to them!
Machias Meadows in Snohomish, WA.
Machias Meadows is such a sweet venue in Snohomish Washington. It’s farm feels invite you into a cozy spot for you and your wedding guests. With modern touches it feels elevated and gives a great variety from the ceremony spot to your reception. The outdoor ceremony location sits behind the big red barn and in front of the fields with roaming long horn cows. Such a fun touch in a wedding venue. The porch on the reception area is great for mingling and watching the sun set over the fields. The golden hour light makes for beautiful wedding portraits with the cows in the background. I’ve been here twice now and throughly enojoyed every inch of this venue for these Summer Wedding at the Farm in Snohomish, WA.
Their Wedding Pups at the Farm
Danika and Nick have two beautiful boxers who came adventuring with us on their engagement session. I was so happy to see them again at Machias Meadows on their wedding day. They were the other stars of the show, posing for photos and being so sweet. Wags Down the Aisle were there to take care of the pups so Danika and Nick didn’t have to worry about them. I had Wags Down the Aisle take care of my dog at my wedding too! They are the absolute best!
