Jordyn and Alex’s Intimate Lake Chelan Wedding 

I am truly speechless over this wedding day! Jordyn and Alex were SO stinking sweet and so in love! They had such a bubbly energetic vibe that radiated off of them throughout their entire wedding day! When Jordyn and Alex reached out after their previous photographer had bailed on them and they mentioned to me that they’d be getting married at an Airbnb in Lake Chelan I was thrilled! I love Lake Chelan and I’ve always dreamed of shooting a wedding there so I was beyond excited! 

A Lake Chelan Wedding 

Jordyn and Alex chose to have a Lake Chelan wedding because Jordyn’s family has a place there where they went a ton while dating! They made a lot of memories there so why not make more?

If you’ve ever thought of eloping or having an intimate wedding at a lake then I’d highly suggest Lake Chelan! The lake itself is stunningly beautiful, with crystal clear waters and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains! Just imagine saying your vows overlooking the gorgeous lake while the sun sets! 

Not only that but, the area also offers plenty of activities for couples to enjoy before or after their wedding, such as boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking which Jordyn and Alex’s family and friends were sure to take part in after the wedding. AND there are numerous venues available for hosting the ceremony and reception, ranging from rustic barns to luxurious resorts! Such as Tsillan Cellars and Lake Chelan Golf Course to Campbell’s Resort, Siren Songs Winery, and Sun Mountain Lodge! 

Finally, the climate in the area is mild and pleasant year-round, making it an ideal destination for a wedding any time of year! Although Jordyn and Alex did experience some rain during their wedding ceremony at their Airbnb, it didn’t phase them at all! The weather and their positive attitudes were huge factors in their day being so perfect! 

Wedding Itinerary 

Jordyn and Alex’s wedding day started off with getting ready photos. Jordyn had her sister and bridesmaids help with makeup and hair as they all got ready together, it was so sweet! Following getting ready photos Jordyn and Alex did a first look. Alex’s reaction to Jordyn was the cutest! His jaw dropped and you could see how in awe of her he was. There was nonstop smiling the entire time I was capturing these photos, from them as well as me! 

One of my favorite touches of their wedding day was an old snowboard that Jordyn repurposed for Alex to make as their guest book. This was a hit! Jordyn and Alex’s entire wedding day was sweet and heartfelt from the wedding ceremony to the wedding reception and the speeches. Despite the moments of rain Jordyn and Alex were just so excited to get married. I never once felt any nerves from either of them, they just enjoyed every minute of the celebrations and love.

Wedding Reception

Right when the reception started the sun came out and the rest of the night was spent outside in the gorgeous Chelan weather! At Jordyn and Alex’s Lake Chelan Airbnb was a pool that they jumped into to celebrate tying the knot. It was epic! Their wedding party jumped in too! 

After hanging out in the pool, they got ready for their send-off. Jordyn wore her mom’s veil from when she got married. This was such a special moment when Jordyn showed her mom and dad, it was clear how much it meant to the two of them. 

Capturing Jordyn and Alex’s intimate Lake Chelan wedding day was a dream come true. I loved how both Jordyn and Alex were so fun and intentional about their day. They incorporated their own unique and meaningful touches and made everything about them! I’m so glad I was able to celebrate with them and capture such a special day that they’ll look back on for the rest of their lives!
