This Seattle Washington Wedding at Washington Park Arboretum has my entire heart! When Jessica and Nick reached out to me and told me they wanted to have their wedding at Wisteria Hall here in Seattle I was ecstatic!
Seattle Washington Wedding Venue
Wisteria Hall is the perfect location for a garden wedding, and if you know me you know I love garden weddings! Wisteria Hall is actually located in Washington Park Arboretum and is run by the UW Botanic Gardens. It’s an absolutely breathtaking venue for any wedding! It has two outdoor terraces right in the middle of a 230-acre park providing a lot of space whether you’re planning on having a more intimate wedding or wanting to invite the whole family! But the best part is the variety of gardens throughout the Park, it’s truly incredible.
Couples Love Story
What I loved so much about Jessica and Nick’s love story is that it’s one we all hope to have in this day in age. They actually met on Hinge! They had their first date at a little gyro restaurant in downtown Philadelphia on a summer night. Jessica had fallen in love with him by the third date when he had taken her to church with him and after that, it was a no-brainer! He proposed after Jessica moved all the way to Portland for him. And listen to this! Jessica had walked into his apartment and it was lined with candles and string lights everywhere! How romantic is that?!
He had pictures of special moments that they had shared and reminisced on – and as she was about to look at the last picture he got down on one knee and as soon as she opened up the picture there was the engagement ring! When Jessica told me this my heart couldn’t handle it! Seriously the cutest love and proposal story ever! Being a hopeless romantic I was just about tearing up!
Wedding Itinerary
We started Jessica and Nick’s Seattle Washington wedding day off with bridal portraits and the first look. First looks are always so special to capture. The first look slows everything down to a cozy intimate moment and gives the couple the chance to bask in the affection of each other before the busyness of the wedding day.
Intimate Vow Exchange
Both Jessica and Nick had shared a heartfelt vow exchange in the shade under a tree and started to tear up. It was so sweet! I loved capturing this candid moment for them as they’ll have these photos to look back on and remember this moment forever.
Garden Wedding Ceremony
After was the ceremony in Wisteria Hall. I still can’t get over how beautiful this Seattle Washington wedding venue is! While Jessica and Nick were getting married under the terrace you could see all the greenery and trees in the background. The natural beauty truly served as the ambiance for the wedding day, they didn’t need anything else! Following the ceremony was the cocktail hour where Grandpa pulled them aside to capture a picture on his own camera and they had a moment together just the three of them. This was so precious. You could see that he was filled with so much happiness and joy. I couldn’t help but smile while capturing this moment between them all.
To end their stunning garden wedding was the reception. One of my favorite moments of their wedding day was when I captured Jessica and her friends surrounding her as they all danced together. Jessica had spun around in full serenity and her dress fluttered out making her look like a princess!
Jessica and Nick’s Seattle Washington wedding at Washington Park Arboretum has a special place in my heart. I’m always drawn back to this couple and this day because they were the sweetest most kind-hearted people. Their day was filled with an immense amount of love from all their friends and family, it was a day filled with so much genuine happiness and excitement for the couple.
I’m beyond excited to see where life takes these two amazing people!
