Elegant Seattle Hotel Wedding
I’ve seen many beautiful wedding venues but Ranna and Danny sure picked a special one for their big day. Their elegant seattle hotel wedding at The Arctic Hotel bled simple elegance with the sweetest personal touches. The stunning ballroom made the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and reception as their incredible vendor team transformed it. It was truly such a magical day.
Getting Ready and First Look Moments
Arriving at The Arctic Hotel and walking through the lobby was magical in and of itself. This hotel located in downtown Seattle offers many amenities like rooms with stunning views, the polar bar and the stunning dome ballroom perfect for your wedding. I ventured upstairs to find Ranna getting ready in the makeup chair looking flawless already. We took her stunning details back to the front of the hotel to get close up shots of it all. The hotel has so many beautiful nooks it was hard to narrow down where we’d take these photos.
The first look was next which we did up on the balcony of their suite. As you can imagine the nerves were there but instantly melted away for the bride and groom as soon as they saw each other. It was such a precious moment as they shared their private vows and the emotions flowed. Having that sweet moment alone to share their deepest feelings was perfect.
We took a few more portraits of just the two of them in front of the hotel for some natural light. They had an old school car in honor or Ranna’s dad and we had to get some portraits with that as well. That was one of the special personal touches that really made their day so special. At this point they were both so giddy and smily with excitement. It was so wonderful to watch these two just soak each other up and enjoy their day. They were so happy and excited to be marrying each other!
The Wedding Ceremony
Let’s take a minute to just admire these florals by Josephine Rice. The ceremony space in the ballroom was magical. You know me and my love for florals so seeing this vision come to life for such an elegant seattle hotel wedding was incredible. I also loved the way they had the chairs curving in, mimicking the ceiling details. When choosing your venue and thinking about these details look at your surroundings and think about how you can use the details to enhance the setting and feelings for your guests.
Ranna and Danny chose a close personal friend to marry them and they crushed it. The ceremony consisted of details all about their relationship up to this point and their plans and dreams moving forward. It’s always so special when someone so close to the couple is able to share about their love and personalize the ceremony so much.
A Fairy Tale Reception
After the delicious dinner provided by the Arctic Club, speeches were up. Beautiful and heartfelt words were spoken. Hearing how loved ones feel about the bride and groom was one of my favorite parts of the day. I, along with most of the crowd had big tears in their eyes. First dances were next and so fun to watch. Again the room and dance floor was beautifully designed right under the stunning ceiling details to make such a grand feeling for this elegant Seattle hotel wedding. The dance party picked up too, with guests launching Ranna and Danny up on chairs to celebrate! Everyone was out of the dance floor cheering on the happy couple.

Not only was this such a beautiful and elegant Seattle hotel wedding but Ranna and Danny were the sweetest and most chill couple ever. I feel so lucky to meet so many amazing people who just radiate kindness and love. That is Ranna and Danny.
