Stilly Brook Farms Classic Wedding
This was my first time visiting this Arlington wedding venue and oh what a joy it was. Ashley and Anton’s Stilly Brook Farms classic wedding day was stunning. They both wanted something simple and special for their wedding day, celebrating the time they’ve spent together and the future ahead of them. Ashley and Anton met at a bar Anton was working at. They dated for 9 years and he popped the question on the beach in Camano Island.
The Perfect Arlington Wedding Venue
Stilly Brook Farms is an indoor and outdoor wedding venue just 45 minutes north of Seattle. With a classic yet farm house feel you get a little bit of everything here. On 30 acres of farmlands you get stunning views of the Cascade Mountains while being easily accessible for everyone. On the property there are gorgeous gardens, a greenhouse, gazebo and a barn hall for all your wedding needs. Stilly Brook Farms offers weddings all year round so whenever you’re planning your big day they’ll take care of you!
The First Look
Ashley and Anton wanted to keep their wedding day classic without all the traditional bells and whistles. They did decide to do a first look so they’d have more quality time together and could do most of their wedding portraits before the ceremony. They choose to do their first look by each walking out and around the beautiful colonial style residence towards each other. It was an epic and classy backdrop for this first look moment.
Wedding Ceremony
After couples and family portraits Ashley and Anton took a minute to relax before the ceremony. I always suggest adding a bit of buffer room into your schedule right before the ceremony in case things go a little longer and then you can freshen up and take a breath before the big moment! The pavilion with a 300 year old maple tree at Stilly Brook Farms made the perfect backdrop for this summer wedding. Other ceremony sites on the property include the gazebo or barn loft. So many options!
Pizza and Portraits
Ashley and Anton had a great vendor team that brought their wedding day to life. For dinner they had Gusto pizza that made them a custom heart pizza! So cute. After eating there were a few speeches and then I snuck them away for some golden hour wedding portraits. We ventured out to the field, took a few snaps in front of the green house and in the gazebo. Nothing like some golden hour light at this Stilly Brook Farms classic wedding. Larissa Johnson captured video for Ashely and Anton and I have to shout her out because she was such a joy to work with. It’s always so nice to instantly connect with other vendors, especially videographers who I work so closely with. She was so sweet and kind, and her videos are amazing!
Gazebo Goodbyes
Their amazing planner Cortney Beede from BD Event Management was so helpful and on top of it all day. She had the amazing idea of surprising Ashely and Anton with a private last dance at the gazebo to finish off the night. She secretly lit candles and went above and beyond to surprise them with this special moment. It was the perfect end to a beautiful Stilly Brook Farms classic wedding day.
