Fall Wedding Portraits
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Amanda and Andrew during this gorgeous Fall wedding portraits session! They had just gotten engaged which made the timing of this session even better!

The Wedding Dress
This dress was perfect for this session! I hadn’t seen any wedding dress like this before so I was excited to photograph it! It had the most beautiful tiered skirt. Seeing the light flow through the fabric was stunning. We got so lucky with the weather. It was a perfect sunny day for fall wedding portraits! I got this dress from REVIVEYOSOUL on instagram. As a photographer who wants to do styled shoots all the time it’s a perfect way to rent dresses!

Couple Portraits
Wedding portraits are probably my favorite thing to photograph. What I love most about the portrait time of a wedding day is getting the couple away from all the festivities to have a moment to themselves. By giving them prompts not poses, they’re able to have fun and connect away from the busy wedding day. It’s a chance to be creative and get those artsy shots in their fancy wedding attire. I love it!
Sometimes couples don’t want to take time out of their wedding day timeline for portraits. I like to suggest around 30 minutes of time for designated couples portraits and sometimes couples don’t want to give that up. So the solution is a separate wedding portrait session, like this one! This allows for couples to not missing a second of thier wedding day. It also gives you a great opportunity to get gorgeous portraits at a different location in your wedding attire. The options are endless when booking a wedding portrait session!

Fall Photoshoot Location
Picking a location for your wedding portraits is an exciting task! You’re not locked into your wedding venue so what kind of look are you wanting to add variety to your wedding gallery? Many people will take their photos at a location that may look or feel different to their venue to get a different feel. Others choose to do these at a sentimental location that wouldn’t have worked as a wedding venue. A far off mountain view location or a favorite vacation spot. Where would you choose to take your wedding portraits?
