Love stories are meant to be cherished and celebrated, and as a Washington couples and wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the enchanting love story of Eva and Josh during their special couples photography session at the breathtaking Lairmont Manor. 

Eva and Josh wanted to commemorate their time together by celebrating their dating anniversary with a couples photoshoot. While it may not be a wedding anniversary, the significance of this milestone should not be overlooked! By capturing their love and commitment through these photographs, they were able to create lasting memories that beautifully document their journey as a couple.

Client Experience and Planning Process:

When it comes to capturing timeless memories, building a strong connection with clients is paramount. In this case, working with Eva, who happens to be one of my closest friends, added an extra layer of joy and excitement to the entire experience! Having met through Instagram years ago, our passion for photography brought us together, and it was inspiring to collaborate on this couples photography session.

Months of planning went into creating the dream shoot Eva and Josh envisioned. From the perfect location to the meticulously chosen outfits and special elements, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect their unique love story. Lairmont Manor, a personal favorite of Eva’s, provided a magical setting that perfectly complemented their style and personality.

Eva’s passion for flowers and all things whimsical was beautifully translated into her choice of a stunning floral dress that perfectly complemented her radiant personality. This inspired choice not only showcased her love for nature but also added a touch of elegance and grace to the entire session.

Meanwhile, Josh’s prized possession, his cherished scooter, added a touch of their shared adventures and playful spirit to the shoot. By incorporating their favorite things, we were able to create a visual narrative that authentically captured their personalities and the unique aspects of their relationship. It was so much fun watching them ride around throughout the session!

Its lush gardens, charming architecture, and rich history make it a perfect location for both weddings and couples’ photoshoots. Every corner of this venue exudes romance, creating an enchanting atmosphere that effortlessly enhances the beauty of any love story!

The Perfect Ending

To conclude the session on a high note, we decided to visit Eva and Josh’s favorite restaurant, conveniently located just a short walk from their apartment! The couple indulged in their favorite delicacy, arancini, and savored the blissful moments while sipping on refreshing Aperol spritzes. This final touch added a personal and intimate touch to their couples photography session, creating a cherished memory of their love and bond.
