Matt & Kari’s Gold Creek Pond Engagement Photos 

I had the pleasure of capturing Matt and Kari’s love story and Gold Creek Pond engagement photos on this beautiful summer day! As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The sun was shining, the wildflowers were in full bloom, and the lake was glistening in the summer heat! I love this time of year for the golden hour gorgeous summer light. It was such a perfect summer night!

What made this shoot even more special was that Gold Creek Pond was the same place where I got engaged! Not only did it have a special place in my heart it did for them too! It was evident that this location held a special place in their hearts, and I was honored to be able to capture their love story in such a meaningful place!

Couples Love Story 

I first met Kari at a church event, and I could tell right away that she was a kind and genuine person. When she told me about her love story with Matt, I knew that this was going to be a special shoot. The couple had met in college and had moved to Seattle for a job opportunity. They wanted these photos to remember their time here, and I was excited to be a part of that memory!

As soon as I met Matt and Kari, I could see the love and affection they had for each other. They were so sweet and in love, and it was evident in every photo we took! Once we got in the groove, we explored the area around the pond, taking many photos in different locations.

As a local Seattle photographer, it was exciting to show them around the area since they were not from Washington. We took advantage of the beautiful scenery and captured some stunning shots of the couple. The natural beauty of the area provided the perfect backdrop for their love story!

Capturing Matt and Kari’s Gold Creek Pond engagement photos was so much fun! The location was perfect, the weather was ideal, and the couple was amazing to work with! It was an honor to be a part of their special day and to capture their love in such a beautiful place!
