Forest Wedding at The Sleeping Lady Resort 

This forest wedding at The Sleeping Lady Resort here in Washington was gorgeous! I’ve known the bride, Sophia since 2019 when I met her through a running group. Since then I’ve photographed her engagement and now her wedding day! They were always so sweet and supportive! 

I knew this day was going to be so much fun to capture because they are such a fun couple to be around and just were so excited to get married. They trusted me fully and every time I was with them it felt like I was hanging with friends! 

The Sleeping Lady Resort 

The Sleeping Lady Resort is located in Leavenworth, Washington. It’s a stunning wedding venue that offers an intimate and romantic setting for couples looking to tie the knot surrounded by towering trees. It’s the perfect location for a forest or mountain wedding or elopement! A lot of people tend to visit Leavenworth for the downtown German vibes. It’s super cute and there are lots of shops and restaurants to explore as well as hiking and summer activities! 

The Sleep Lady is nestled in the heart of the Cascade Mountains. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony! 

One of the most unique features of The Sleeping Lady Resort is the eco-friendly design of the buildings. The resort was built using sustainable materials and features a variety of environmentally-friendly features. Including a green roof and solar panels. This commitment to sustainability makes The Sleeping Lady Resort an ideal choice for couples who are looking for an eco-friendly wedding venue! One of the many reasons I love this venue! 

For couples looking for a traditional indoor ceremony, the resort offers a beautiful chapel that can accommodate up to 120 guests. The chapel features stunning stained glass windows and a vaulted ceiling, creating a truly magical atmosphere for your wedding ceremony!

The Sleeping Lady also features a variety of outdoor spaces including a beautiful garden area, a riverside ceremony site, and a stunning meadow that is perfect for outdoor receptions. This is what Sophia and Cameron decided on doing for their wedding ceremony! 

Wedding Day Details 

Sophia and Cameron’s wedding at The Sleeping Lady Resort in Washington was a beautiful celebration of love and commitment. The couple, who have been together since high school, exchanged vows outdoors surrounded by towering trees. It perfectly captured the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest!

The ceremony was a heartfelt and emotional affair, with Sophia and Cameron’s love for each other shining through in every moment. From the way they looked at each other, to the way they held hands. It was clear that these two were meant to be together! One of my favorite moments of their wedding day was when their corgi Pepper joined them on stage while they exchanged vows. It was the cutest thing!

After the ceremony, was their wedding reception, which was held in a beautifully decorated ballroom. The atmosphere was lively and festive, with so much laughter filling the room. They even had the cutest photo booth station! 

Throughout the day, Sophia and Cameron’s love was apparent in every detail, from Sophia’s personalized wedding shoes to the wedding ceremony florals. It was clear that they had put a lot of thought and care into their special day, and it was such a joy to be a part of it! 

Final Thoughts

Sophia and Cameron’s wedding at The Sleeping Lady Resort was a beautiful and unforgettable celebration of love! I am so grateful Sophia and Cameron chose me to be their Washington wedding photographer! I’m so excited to see what the future has in store for them!
